CABA/Plymouth Postcards
Created during my residency with Casa Salas in Buenos Aires, 2024, these postcards are a meditation on my position between my home city of Plymouth and Buenos Aires. An act of conversation with the spirits of Buenos Aires, and a method of my own feelings of being stuck between cities continents apart. Through the creation of these postcards I considered my spiritual identity and the coloniality as a European visitor to Argentina, the beauty of the city, and intense neurodivergent overstimulation.
Half of the postcards stayed in Buenos Aires, while the other half came home with me, bridging the continents. The half left in Buenos Aires were exhibited by Casa Salas in November, 2024.
